Franchesca “Frankie” Dargin (Board Secretary) Recently transitioning to real estate, Franchesca was a senior analyst in the tech space within the financial services industry for five years in Washington, D.C. Also, she founded Talent In Your Face, a small consulting and talent management firm that focused on helping independent artists across the entertainment industry. Franchesca has always been passionate and appreciative of the arts from an early age; writing since the age of fourteen when she was introduced to the fascinating world of creative writing and poetry.
Aaron Holtzman, MAFM, CPA (Board Chair) is an accountant with almost 10 years of experience in public accounting, working with small to midsize businesses and specializing in financial reporting and transactions. Along with his passion for numbers, he has always viewed giving back to the community as an integral part of his personal life.
Growing up in South Jersey, Aaron played the drums from middle school through high school both in the concert band and drumline. Upon getting admitted to Rutgers University, he became a member of the Rutgers University Dance Marathon which was and still is the largest student-run philanthropy in the state of New Jersey (having raised millions of dollars during its existence to support a local charity in New Brunswick).
Aaron married his wife in October of 2019, who is a Texas girl, they decided to leave their New York way of life in pursuit of a hipper Austin experience. Coming from Hoboken NJ to Austin, TX they look forward to becoming an active part of the community and adopting a puppy.
Michael Ruiz (Board Vice-Chair) has been a paramedic for the last 8 years in Austin. He played Tuba throughout middle and high school and is captivated by music of any type.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational, Workforce, and Leadership from Texas State University. Although most of Michael’s work experience comes from working on an ambulance, he has a passion for the business side of things. Michael is the operator of a small drone business and has consulted for other small businesses in the past.
Kenny Felton (Board President/Founder) Is a skilled musician and instructor with a technical background. Kenny received his Bachelor’s degree in Music, Audio Technology, and Ethnomusicology from Indiana University.
With over 45 years of experience as a professional musician, 22 years experience teaching drums/percussion, and 22 years experience managing computers, computer networks, and telecommunications, Kenny has the experience needed to make sure Texas Music Partners stays the course in its mission.
Kenny’s emphasis is on opening the minds of future generations to creatively combine technology and the arts.
