How You Can Help Support Texas Music Partners and Our Kids!
Like the saying goes “It takes a village to raise a child.” Texas Music Partners relies on our communities and people like you to help us accomplish our mission. The job market our kids will be walking into is rapidly changing and adding the arts, specifically music, to STEAM education will help give our kids an added boost to help them succeed.
According to a report authored by the Institute for the Future (IFTF) and published by Dell Technologies, the job market our children will be walking into will be changing so fast that:
- An estimated 85 percent of the jobs that will exist in 2030 haven’t even been invented yet.
- According to the Dell Technologies report: “The pace of change will be so rapid that people will learn ‘in the moment’ using new technologies such as augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). The ability to gain new knowledge will be more valuable than the knowledge itself.”
- By the mid-2030s an estimated 38% of the unskilled labor market could be taken over by artificial intelligence (AI) machines and robots. This isn’t entirely bad news as that many machines in the marketplace will open up new jobs, but these jobs will need training to adequately perform the required tasks needed.

Adding the arts to STEAM education gives our children a chance to think creatively, work as a team and overcome the obstacle of tomorrow’s job market, as well as create an outlet for dealing with tomorrow’s stress. Yes, it’s a challenge we can overcome, but shouldn’t it be fun at the same time?
